127th Annual Picnic and Parade     -    May 30, 31 and June 1

Entry into the Picnic Grounds is Free to All -- Come...play...enjoy.

Schedule of Events:

128th Annual Parade:  Sunday June 1, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. on Main Street in Sutter Creek.  Call Robert Manassero for sign-ups at 209-223-2551. 

Kiddies Night:  Friday, May 30 -- Reduced prices on all rides

Carnival:  Opens Friday, May 30 at 5:00 p.m.   Open on Saturday at 12 noon until midnight and Sunday from 12 noon until 6:00 p.m.

Food and Crafts Booths:  Open Friday 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., Saturday 12:00 p.m. to midnight, Sunday 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  Fine foods and crafts.  For rental information call 296-6498.

Dancing and Music: 

  • Friday Night:  Rock and Roll with Motss Brothers from 8:00 p.m. to 12:00 midnight

  • Saturday: Dance to the music of Motss Brothers from 8:00 p.m. to 12:00 midnight 

Souvenir Booth:  Open Friday through Sunday.

Italian Food Booth:  Fresh pasta al pesto and Italian sausage sandwiches.

Bingo:  Win a salami

  • Friday:  5:00 p.m. to closing

  • Saturday 1:00 p.m. to 12:00 p.m.

  • Sunday  11:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.


Beer and Wine Pavilion:  Open daily in the outdoor Pavilion.  Live music and dancing.  No  alcoholic beverages are allowed to be brought onto the grounds.  Wrist bands and I.D.s are required.

Italian Music:  Friday 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Saturday 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Sunday 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Tri-Tip Barbeque:  Barbeque is offered on Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the dining room at the cost of $7.50 per plate.  Includes pasta, salad and bread.

Chicken and Ravioli Six Course Dinner:  Saturday night, 7:00 p.m. in the dining room.  No host cocktails start at 6:00 p.m.  Call Wayne Garibaldi, after April 3, at 209-223-2320.  Menu:  Anti-pasta course, salami, coppa, cheese platters, bread, torta, salad, pasta, ravioli, coffee and dessert.  Family style, all you can eat.  Wine included.  Ticket price. $30.00.

Bocce Ball:  Offered to the public on Friday and Sunday featuring Bocce for a Buck.  Lessons, contests and fun.  On Saturday a professional tournament will be held featuring teams from all over California -- participants include past world champions.  Tournament begins at 9:00 a.m. and continues all day.

Parking:  Parking at the entrance off Highway 49.  All parking money benefits local high schools.  Parking fee of $2.00.  Please, no parking on the highway shoulder in front of the Picnic Grounds.

No pets of any kind are allowed on the grounds.  Service dogs are the ONLY exception.  No alcohol of any kind to be brought on the grounds.
